Looking back, I wish we had started this blog before Evie was born. There are so many lessons we learned, so many cherished moments, so many changes, and they’re all nowhere but in our memories.

Now here’s our chance to take a look back (before time slips further away) and share some photos of our family pre-blog. Perhaps we’ll even get around to sharing some favorite moments; like the time Evie woke up in the morning, crawled over to me and woke me up by saying “Poo poo fart”, you can imagine my pride at that moment! Or the time Evie was pictching a fit and I carried her down the stairs of our old place and slipped in my socks as I held onto little Evie with all my might. She was scared but fine. When I looked back up the stairwell there were two big holes in the wall where I tried to stop myself with my elbows! Then there was Evie’s first birthday when, saying goodbye to her little friends, she all but french kissed her friend Nyla. Ah, the good old days. Of course there are those few but most precious moments of all when I would put Evie to bed by holding her in my arms and singing to her as she melted into my shoulder and fell asleep. Those are the moments I could stay in forever.

It will take a while but we’ll be putting up more and more old photos, so keep checking back!
